Before & After School Programs

Fee-Based Enrichment Classes

Students at Davis Magnet School have the opportunity to take a variety of fee-based after school enrichment classes throughout the school year. The classes vary during the year and give students the chance to expand their knowledge in math, science, technology, art, writing, and foreign languages. Information is sent home at the beginning of each session. Please contact our front office for additional information.

R.O.C.K.S After School Program

Recreation on Campus for Kids (R.O.C.K.S) after-school program is a fee-based program at Davis Magnet School. The Costa Mesa R.O.C.K.S After School Program provides supervision by City of Costa Mesa Recreation staff on the school’s playground Monday through Friday from the time school is dismissed until 6 p.m. for children grades kindergarten through 6th. The program is open during the school year and is closed during all school holidays, in-service days and vacation breaks.

A registration form must be completed for each participant where there are payment options per Session, Tri-Installment, and Yearly.  Registration and payment of fees can be made at the CM City Hall, the Downtown Recreation Center, the Neighborhood Community Center, or online.

YMCA Before & After School Child Care

YMCA after-school programs have been providing the families of Orange County with affordable, quality childcare since 1920. Our before and after school programs expand learning opportunities for children beyond the traditional school day, offering enrichment programs that both reinforce and complement the academic focus of the school. 

We are open to students 4.9-12 years of age, Monday-Friday, year-round including school breaks, teacher in-service days, and some holidays. We have various program schedules to choose from including drop-in care, 2, 3, and 5 days a week-monthly programs.
