Hello Davis Magnet School Parents!

We hope that you have all had a fantastic summer! We have had a great one! As the school year is starting, we wanted to take the time to plant something in your heads-- This year, Davis Magnet School is holding our Annual Gala in the spring. We are having it at the Mesa Verde Country Club, April 6th. We know it seems so far off, but in order to complete with other schools for local donations, we want to get an early start. If ANY of you know of someone, a business, a friend, or a favorite store or restaurant, that you might think would donate something to our gala, PLEASE asks them sooner than later!!!  If you feel uncomfortable doing so, but know that your friend or business would do so-- we would be happy to ask for you-- We have a formal letter written up and can easily e-mail it or print it out and mail it to whoever you know. We are also doing a “Wine Wall” again this year. If you are interested in helping to chair this, let us know. Or you can just set up a time for us to pick up wine bottles you would like to donate (please don’t send them to school). We want to make this an awesome night, for the awesome parents, of our awesome kids and if we all pull together our resources, we know we can make it happen!!!!!
